Designing My Logo
This is my personal logo, designed entirely by me. When I decided that my future last name would be “Yusif,” I began sketching ideas for a mark that felt simple, modern, minimalist, and easy to remember. My goal was to create something instantly recognizable, a small visual “aha” moment.
The idea began as a hand-drawn sketch in February 2025, and the final digital version was completed in September 2025.
Concept & Symbolism
At the center of the design is a minimalist monogram formed by merging the letters V and Y, the initials of Vusal Yusif.
These two characters blend into a single unified mark, symbolizing identity, and personal vision.
The Circle surrounding the monogram carries additional meaning:
Focus & Spotlight: Naturally draws attention to the initials.
Protection: Symbolically encloses and safeguards the identity and values behind the mark.
Unity & Wholeness: Represents completeness, balance, and continuity.
Color Choice
I chose a black-and-white color to emphasize simplicity.
Black expresses power, strength, sophistication, elegance, and a sense of mystery.
White conveys clarity, new beginnings, purity, perfection, and simplicity.
Together, they create a clean visual contrast, balance, and timelessness in the logo.
This logo is my first serious attempt at a deeply personal project, born from a desire to design something meaningful for myself. While I am not a professional designer and recognize areas that could be improved, I view this work as a starting point rather than a finished result.
For now, this logo serves as the foundation of my personal brand.
Creating This Website
I created this website to serve as a centralized personal and professional digital profile. The goal was to present my work experience, projects, personal writings, and long-term objectives in one structured and accessible location.
The website was built independently without professional assistance. I managed the full process, including domain purchase, hosting setup, content writing, page structure, and visual layout. I also considered basic user experience (UX) and interface design (UI) principles to ensure clarity, consistency, and ease of navigation.
Starting without prior experience required learning and applying new tools throughout the process. This website represents a complete, self-managed project and serves as a functional foundation for my ongoing personal and professional digital presence.
